Wim Crouwel limited edition wallpaper
Cole & Son has teamed up with London’s Design Museum to launch a limited edition wallpaper inspired by the works of Dutch graphic designer Wim Crouwel. The collaboration is to coincide with the first UK retrospective of Wim Crouwel, entitled Graphic Odyssey, at the Design Museum from 30 March – 3 July.

Graphic Odyssey looks to explore Crouwel’s inventive use of grid-based layouts and typographies to create eye-catching graphic images.

Exhibition co-curator Tony Brooks comments: ‘‘The C in the wallpaper print is for Crouwel. Under normal circumstances a C is a simple letter, but a Wim Crouwel designed letterform is a different matter altogether. The Cs I have chosen show off his love of geometry, systematic thinking and mastery of abstract form.”

Hand-made in Cole & Son’s London factory, the wallpaper is £175 per roll, available in grey and and aqua and is exclusively being sold at the Design Musuem Shop and online at www.designmuseumshop.com for the duration of the exhibition.
